How to Animate Emotes Yourself for FREE

Twitch Emote Sizing

You must submit Twitch emotes in three sizes (28 x 28, 56 x 56, 112 x 112) The images must be a PNG file format. The emote must have a transparent background.

Option 1: Canva FREE Subscription

Open a project

Select the text box you want to animate

Click the Animate button in the top toolbar

Choose an animation option from the menu

Download as a GIF & enjoy. 

Note: downloading with a transparent background requires a higher Canva subscription, but this would be great for making emotes of yourself or animating memes or you can set the background to green and use your streaming software to filter out that color with a Chroma Key. Just depends on the use! :D

You can animate any emote with https://makeemoji.com/ - they have a bunch of preset options that might work for you!
